ABOUT ME..........

I have been working in the retail fabric industry for over 20 years, owning and operating a high-end Fabric Store. While employed in the industry I learned a great deal about fabric and design. I feel that this type of knowledge can only be obtained by continuously working in an environment that offers the opportunity to learn about new fabrics, how they are made, and how to use the right fabric for the right project.

While operating my retail business, I also had the opportunity to design my own patterns, some of which are on this site. Design has proven to be very challenging, but was also was a major component in my retail business, constantly driving me to think of new ways to do things and new ways to present ideas.

About a year ago I made the decision to pursue my interests in design, and I thought one of the best ways to do this would be as on online or mail order business . Designing has become one of my priorities, at the moment, as I love to design clothing patterns, quilts, and crafts.

Somewhere along the way I discovered a talent , and a love, for sketching and illustrating. All of the graphics on this website are of my own design. Please take a moment to go to My Gallery to see some of my portraits.
